Electronic promotion: Packing enough punch
Advancement in information technology has revolutionised the entire world. Virtually, electronic gizmos have found their use in most of the professions. Healthcare professionals too have benefitted from these developments. Patients can communicate with physicians across continents, and also send photographs of a rapidly disappearing allergic rash, even before they reach the clinic. Physicians, on the other hand, can send reports and prescriptions to far-off patients. This article discusses the pros and cons of this technology leap within the physician’s cabin.
