Intas Biopharmaceuticals Ltd, an Indian biotechnology company,
has become one of the leading biosimilar product manufacturers
in Asia. As an independent biopharmaceutical company of the
Intas Group, it has fully integrated biopharmaceutical operations
with R&D facility, besides an EU-GMP certified biopharmaceutical
manufacturing plant. The company is also actively pursuing the
contract research and manufacturing services (CRAMS) line of
business. To expand this, in June 2008 it acquired a biotechnology
firm, Biologics Process Development Inc (BPD), based in California,
